Metal butt plate. Smooth full length wood stock. Finish worn trigger guard, trigger, hammer, lock plate and barrel. Muzzle located fixed bayonet lug. Front fixed blade sight. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Lock plate marked: U.S. HARPERS FERRY 1824. Barrel proofed: VP with Eagle. Left side of stock marked AB PA 2 V PH. Serial number 1 marked on the trigger guard, trigger, barrel bands, reinforcing side plate and screws. Comes with a U.S. marked bayonet. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique, Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, rust/pitting, wood damage and the action does not function properly. The rifled bore has rust with lightly visible rifling.
